Holding my breath
The excitement of possibility
Shoots through my veins

Impatiently waiting
Letting my breath out
Trying to calm

My heart 
Beats faster as though 
Pounding through
My chest.

My pulse 
Hammers in my head
Roaring like the clouds
Cut through
By a silvery plane

The music 
From my CD Player
Reverberates in my ears
Feeding my soul

The chatter
Mindless & constant
Permeates the terminal

My chest
Rises & falls
With impatience
Eagerness to continue
On my journey home

Longing
For those closest to me
Fills my thoughts
Yet I push it away
To survive
The slow-moving
Sands of Time.

I added you, after the advice in bigirls I couldnt resist. Sometimes I need someone who understands things, I dont plan on bugging you with my every problem. You don't have to add me if you don't want to.. just let me know and I'll remove you. Im proud of you for overcoming abuse of all kinds.. I know how hard it is sometimes to come above everything and leave it behind. Ok thats enough rambling from me
